I run hot and sweat more than most. Because of this I don’t own any bulky, heavily insulated jackets. I’d rather have a few lightweight breathable layers to help manage my body’s temperature. This is where the WS-J02 comes into play. It’s a lightweight mid-layer with great heat retention but still allows moisture to escape so you don’t overheat. When I wear this jacket I forget I have it on. Not too hot, not too cold. Goldilocks would be proud.

The jacket is quite form fitting. I generally just have a t-shirt on under it but can pair it with our 275gsm merino wool hoodie and still be comfortable because of the stretch in the fabric. It was designed to be form fitting so you could throw our rain shell (still in development) over the top or our lightweight down jacket (also still in development) for extra warmth and protection.

Like everything else in our collection, this jacket enjoys participating in a number of different activities. During the testing phase it was worn trail running, backpacking, climbing, coaching soccer practice in the rain, camping, snowboarding, at evening events, eating kettle corn on the couch, riding dirtbikes in the desert, etc... I think you get the idea.
